Our dedication to diversity begins in the recruiting process. We actively search for diverse candidates during our recruiting process. We offer competitive, above standard wages for our therapists. We are actively searching for those that speak other languages and have global backgrounds. We have standard compensation policies to ensure equitable pay for all therapists. We offer programs for referring providers to our staff and actively approach diverse candidates during our recruitment outreach program
Choosing our Matching Experts.
Our Matching Experts are your first contact with Silver Lake Psychology. We choose diverse team members to be able to empathize with our clients on a direct level. These specially trained customer service professionals take the time to listen to our clients and match them using our Mindful Matching process. They speak multiple languages and will be able to match you with your best match, most cases within 24 hours. We strongly believe in having this group be as diverse as possible to allow our clients to really delve deep into their reasons to pursue therapy to allow us to make a Mindful Match. (link to Mindful Match page) Our Matching Experts are chosen with diversity in mind. We want to represent the clients that we help. These customer service rockstars will make sure that no matter who you are; you’re heard, you’ll be helped, and you’ll be respected.
In addition to our Therapists and Matching Experts, we pursue diverse applicants for all roles including executive opportunities, billing, and administrative positions. We choose diverse candidates consistently company-wide no matter the position. This ensures the continued diversity needed to successfully help our diverse range of clients.
While we provide premium individual, couples, and group therapy, we charge modest prices. We choose to offer our exceptional therapy services affordably to allow as many people as possible the chance to take care of their mental health. While we could offer our services at rates for much more, we are offering therapy for a COVID-discounted rate for self-pay clients and work with most insurances to ensure that we maintain access to therapy for as many people as possible
Silver Lake Psychology actively supports partnerships with organizations throughout the community to help members in a diverse lens at every opportunity. We work with multicultural organizations, LGBT organizations, feminist organizations, addiction and recovery organizations, community support organizations across the specrum, and continue to search out these partnerships daily. We work with like-minded partners throughout the community to provide mental health care access and help to show our commitment to diversity throughout the community.
