Silver Lake Psychology is introducing two new groups! Dealing with mindfulness during the pandemic, these two groups allow for connection, self-compassion, and what the future may hold for us and our relationships. These two pointed groups can help clients to have a sounding board and support system that may be lacking due to COVID.
Mindfulness for Health Care Workers
The first group, run by therapist Kelsey Collins focuses on Mindfulness for Health Care Workers. This group will help explore the role that caregivers have in a pandemic. More than just the stress of the job, Kelsey will help members navigate through preventing burnout, improving sleep, and stresses outside of work. She’ll give an overview of the topic, will facilitate a brief group discussion, and a chance to practice mindfulness techniques. The Mindfulness for Health Care Workers takes place on Mondays at 4pm.
Mindful Connecting
The second group is Mindful Connecting and is run by Amanda Stemen. Mindful Connecting focuses on our relationships. Building relationships in a pandemic, venturing back into the world and meeting new people, and connecting with relationships that you already have will all be discussed. You will explore your concerns and learn tools to think mindfully and achieve your social goals, whatever they may be! The Mindful Connection Group takes place on Wednesdays at 6pm.
How to sign up for Group Therapy
Both of our groups are affordable and only $25.00 per week. These sessions can help you to learn the mindfulness tools and strategies that can help you to improve your life, reduce your stress, and can lead to incredible change in your life. Fill out our contact form below to sign up!
