GRIEF & LOSE

Grief is a powerful emotion. Grief can present itself in many different ways
including heartache, apathy, numbness, a sense of fragility, frequent crying, and
anxiety. It can be isolating and intense.
Especially with the impact of COVID and our new normal as we move forward, grief
can be more than just the loss of someone you care for, but the loss of friendships,
activities, physical touch, and the impact that the pandemic has had on all of us.
With the amount of cases and deaths in the last year, the amount of those that
haven’t experienced loss from COVID grows smaller every day. While you may
have had everything together a year ago, at the start of quarantine, 6 months ago,
or even 3 months ago, the extent of COVID has changed all of us. It’s okay to let
yourself work through these changes with the help of a therapist. If there’s ever
been a time to seek help, a global pandemic is easily one. Even if grief is a small
portion of your goals, working with a Grief Specialist can help you come to terms
with, process, and help you to move forward with your life.
